Assistant Account Manager
Personal Lines
Primary Responsibilities: Assists Account Manager by doing data entry or by assisting in any other areas as instructed by the Account Manager.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be detail oriented and have the ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Requires working to established procedures and meeting deadlines.
- Maintains knowledge of underwriting criteria for carriers represented by the agency.
- Must be able to work independently with little supervision and have good problem solving skills.
- Must have the ability to understand policy forms, rating and coverage descriptions.
- Demonstrated customer service skills and basic knowledge of computer programs.
- Type 30 – 45 wpm.
- High School Diploma required.
- Previous experience in the insurance industry preferred.
- A Hawaii Property-Casualty insurance producer’s license required by the State of Hawaii Department of Insurance preferred.
- Other duties as required by the position.
